PowerBI is a business intelligence-oriented data visualization software application created by Microsoft. It is one of the three most popular visualization tools currently available, the other 2 being Tableau & Qlik Sense. PowerBI has hundreds of powerful features, multiple integrations, a rich and well-maintained support community, a remarkable & user-friendly UI, and many more characteristics. PowerBI uses two main programming languages: Power Query M (M) is a query language for managing data sources. In contrast, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) is a programming language used for manipulating & analyzing data by performing a wide array of possible calculations.
This section will discuss download & installation, configuration, main features, integration with DAX Studio, loading from different data sources, Report view, Data view, Data Model view, different visualization objects, workspace creation, publishing, and more.
